General Options
Auto-append text for the closest match from the suggestion list
If this option is checked the text of the closest matching command from the suggestion
list will be appended automatically as you type. The idea is that after you type
a few keystrokes the closest match will be the command you want and you will not
have to type the entire command. See FAQ for
more detail.
Defaults to checked.
Automatically display suggestion list as you type
If this options is checked then a drop down of suggested command will be display as you
type in the Run++ prompt, sort of like the standard intellisense drop downs. See
FAQ for more detail.
Defaults to unchecked due to performance reasons.
If this option is enabled and you wish to limit the number of items suggested in the drop down then you can check the box next to
"Limit the number of suggestions to a max of" and set the appropriate number of items. The default is 10.
Keep console window open after a command finishes
By default if you run a console application (like ipconfig) you will see the output
flash on the screen but you don't get to see the output. If this option is checked
then the console window will pause after a command has finished so you can see the
output.
Defaults to checked.
Open web address in a new browser window
If this option is checked then a new instance of your default browser is created and the
web address is passed to it as a argument. Usually for most browsers this results
in a new window being opened to display the web page.
Defaults to checked.
Hotkey to display run command
This is the hotkey that will launch the Run++ prompt. See
Setting Hotkeys.
Defaults to Win + Space.
Hotkey to exit the program
This is the hotkey that will exit Run++. See Setting
Hotkeys.
Defaults to Win + X.
Enable hotkey to minimize the foreground application to the system tray
If this is checked then the global hotkey that is set for this option will be registered
and when it is pressed the foreground window will be minimized to its default icon
in the system tray. See Setting Hotkeys
for information about setting the hotkey for this option.
Defaults to checked with the hotkey Alt + F5.
Preloaded Commands

These are the list of command types that will be preloaded into the list of suggested commands as you type. The item types that have a * next to their name are types that automatically refresh as they are changed. For example if you install a new program and it puts a shortcut on the Start Menu, that same shortcut will automatically be added to the list of preloaded commands.
Appearance
This section allows you to customize the look and location of the prompt. You can change everything from the color to the transparency to the screen location.
